JOB DUTIES

  • Consult with patients about their medical history and reasons for their visit;
  • Review medical tests, such as x-rays and/or ultrasounds, to better understand the patient’s condition;
  • Create a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing;
  • Assess the patient’s spine, posture and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment;
  • Perform manual adjustment to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary;
  • Maintain accurate patient case histories;
  • Work collaboratively with other health care professionals in a multi-disciplinary team setting
  • Provide excellent patient care and customer service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, their families, and the community

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional education: Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic;
  • At least 3 years of experience in an outpatient multidisciplinary setting;
  • Valid NJ state license;
  • Proven ability to review medical tests and analyze patient’s condition;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, conditions and treatments;
  • Deep understanding of Graston technique and active release technique (ART);
  • Must have Functional Release (FRC) training;
  • FMA and/ or FAKTR certificate, Rock Tape is preferred;
  • Proficient in adjusting/manual therapy skills;
  • Have a working knowledge in assessment and treatment of extremity issues;
  • Current First-Aid and CPR certification;
  • Maintain accurate client records;
  • Insured under professional liability;

SURGICAL PHYSICIAN’S ASSISTANT

Location: West Orange, New Jersey
Schedule: Full-Time | 5 days per week

The Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) will work closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of orthopedic conditions. This role involves evaluating patients, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and assisting with surgeries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform initial patient evaluations, including taking medical histories and conducting physical exams.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including wound care and patient education.
  • Manage orthopedic conditions, such as fractures, sprains, and joint disorders.
  • Assist orthopedic surgeons during surgical procedures, including preparing the operating room and providing intraoperative support.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures, such as casting, splinting, and injections.
  • Monitor and manage patient progress and recovery, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Prescribe medications and provide counseling on medication management.

COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION

  • Work collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in patient rounds and contribute to case discussions and decision-making.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with medical protocols, safety standards, and legal regulations.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of orthopedic protocols and procedures.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Stay current with advancements in orthopedic medicine and surgical techniques through continuing education and professional development.
  • Provide education and training to patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and wellness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certification: Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • Experience: Previous experience in orthopedic medicine or surgery preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, proficiency in orthopedic procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
  • Capability to lift and move patients and medical equipment as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Office based: 3-4 days
  • Surgical Center: 1-2 days

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Location: West Orange, New Jersey
Schedule: Full-Time | Minimum 3 days per week

Oasis is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with proven expertise in IV drip and infusion therapy. This role is ideal for a professional who delivers exceptional patient care, maintains the highest clinical standards, and thrives in a structured, fast-growing medical environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform IV drip and infusion therapies with accuracy, efficiency, and strict adherence to clinical protocols
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor responses throughout treatment
  • Maintain complete, accurate clinical documentation
  • Uphold safety, compliance, and infection control standards at all times
  • Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active RN or NP license in the State of New Jersey
  • Demonstrated experience in IV drip / infusion therapy
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Ability to commute consistently to West Orange
  • Bilingual proficiency is a strong advantage
  • Research or compensation-related clinical experience is a plus
