Dr. Ripal Patel is double board-certified in Interventional Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. He earned his doctor of medicine at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School after graduating with magna cum laude from Rutgers University. Dr. Patel completed a surgical internship at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In addition, he completed an anesthesiology residency at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School. He further completed an accredited Interventional Pain Management fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical Center. He is passionate about determining the root cause of his patient’s pain and using a multi-modal approach to treating chronic pain, including conservative modalities and advanced procedures, so his patients can improve their quality of life and get back to living their life pain-free. He is interested in interventional pain management procedures and advanced interventional pain therapies, including spinal cord stimulation.
